Potato images
In the COST B11 project there are also some investigations on using MRI texture analysis for quality assessment of food products, such as vegetables, fruits, cheese and meat. For example, with collaboration of Danish Institute of Agricultural Science, classification and qualification of different sorts of potatoes is performed. This is evaluated based on textural features extracted from MRI potato images. Fig. 10 presents sample MRI textured potato image.
