Analysis of electricity consumption in a household and possible methods of its reduction
Streszczenie
Celem pracy była analiza zużycia energii elektrycznej przez typowe domowe urządzenia i
instalacje. Praca składa się z 4 rozdziałów. Pierwszy z nich opisuje obecne ceny za energię
elektryczną oraz pokazuje, jak te ceny się zmieniały na przestrzeni lat i jak mogą wzrosnąć w
następnych latach. Znajduje się tam również porównanie pod względem energooszczędności
najważniejszych urządzeń, jakie mamy w naszych domach oraz wyjaśnienie pojęcia klas
energetycznych, na które powinniśmy zwracać uwagę przy zakupie domowych urządzeń. W
drugim rozdziale przedstawione są wyniki pomiarów najważniejszych urządzeń
elektrycznych i elektronicznych oraz zużycie przez nie energii w ciągu roku. W czwartym
rozdziale przeanalizowanych jest 5 metod, które mogą pomóc w energooszczędności, są tam
zarówno całe systemy jak i niewielkie urządzenia. W ostatnim, piątym rozdziale wskazane są
najlepsze i najbardziej opłacalne metody oszczędności energii elektrycznej.

Abstract
The aim of the work was to analyze electricity consumption by typical household appliances
and installations. The work consists of 4 chapters. The first of them describes the current
electricity prices and shows how these prices have changed over the years and how they may
increase in the coming years. There is also a comparison in terms of energy efficiency of the
most important devices that we have in our homes and an explanation of the concept of
energy classes that we should pay attention to when buying home appliances. The second
chapter presents the measurement results of the most important electrical and electronic
devices and their annual energy consumption. In the fourth chapter, 5 methods are analyzed
that can help in energy efficiency, there are both entire systems and small devices. In the last,
fifth chapter, the best and most cost-effective methods of saving electricity are indicated.
